Prudential Cambodia CEO pays courtesy visit to the insurance department, Ministry of Finance

Prudential Cambodia Life Assurance PLC’s appointed Chief Executive Officer; Tola Ponlu, together with Manish Gurbuxani; Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Life Assurance Lao Company Limited (“Prudential Laos”) paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Phaithoun Thienglamai; Acting Director General of the State Own Enterprise Reform and Insurance Department (“DSRI”), Ministry of Finance to support ongoing collaboration between DSRI and Prudential Laos to advance financial and protection solutions in the country.

The purpose of the visit was also to strengthen the commitment to providing the financial protection to the Lao population by making life insurance product more accessible and affordable to everyone especially among the more vulnerable population in the rural areas. The discussion also prioritized on nurturing life insurance awareness in the Lao community through on ground activities, seminars, and training. To this, Prudential Laos has also worked with the NGO partners to set up roadshows at the National University of Laos focusing financial empowerment for young students and organized a coffee meet providing information on financial planning to staffs at corporate offices and ministries in Vientiane.
